Education & Experience
Dr. Chad is a proud Aggie from Texas A&M University where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology and rounded out his education with a minor in business administration.
He then honed his skills at Baylor College of Dentistry, where he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery, Master of Science in Oral Biology, and his Certificate in Orthodontics.
Dr. Chad’s journey in education is a testament to his dedication to orthodontics, which he shares passionately through his engaging lectures and seminars held across the country.
Memberships & Affiliations
Dr. Chad Capps is part of the Spear Study Club, where he keeps up with the latest in dental care. Dr. Chad also contributes to a multi-disciplinary airway-focused study club so he can stay at the forefront of treatments focusing on jaw growth and development.
His involvement in these groups shows his commitment to continuous learning and providing the best care to his patients.
Outside of the Office
Dr. Capps is deeply immersed in family life and outdoor activities. He cherishes the time spent with his family, including his wife Heather, a PA in dermatology, and their children, Colton and Charli, who keep the family active with youth sports and dance recitals.
An outdoorsman at heart, Dr. Capps often joins his father and son for hunting, fishing, and working with cows, embracing the natural beauty and tranquility of the Rockwall area.
Dr. Capps works to maintain a balance of personal health and professional dedication.
His competitive spirit finds an outlet by participating in triathlons, cycling, and running.
Dr. Capps and his family are also actively involved in their church and mission trips, demonstrating a solid commitment to their community and helping those in need.
